Maison Jansen was a Paris-based interior decoration office of the first half of the 20thcentury. The company quickly established itself as one of the leading design firms in France. It was known for its luxurious and eclectic style that combined elements of different historical periods and design styles. Initially inspired by styles such as Louis XVI or Empire, the firm produced new work in a Neoclassical spirit. It also expanded to new trends (Art NouveauArt Deco and successive modern styles) and further foreign influences.
Maison Jansen consequently designed the interiors of some of the most prestigious residences around the world. It included the White House in Washington D.C. or Buckingham Palace.

Jansen is up to the present time a reference in interior design.
