Patrice Dangel trained at the Ecole Boulle in the engraving section. He also studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He began his career at a renowned foundry and soon specialized in restoring art objects. Surrounded by prestigious merchants and artifacts, he started designing his own creations in the 1980s. His work debuted at Pierre Passebon’s Galerie du Passage. There, he met decorator Jacques Grange and began collaborating with him. Later, he worked with the Alexandre Biaggi gallery. He also partnered with international decorators on various projects. He sculpts lighting fixtures and furniture. Using plaster and bronze, he shapes his ideas into reality.
