Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann is a legendary French furniture designer and interior decorator of the Art Deco period. By the 1920s Ruhlmann was the most successful and prestigious designer of his day. He commanded a large team of master craftsmen and assistants and created furniture and interiors for the elite. You  can now be find Ruhlmann’ s furniture and drawings in private and public collections such as Musee des Arts Decoratifs (Paris), Musee d’Orsay (Paris), Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Metropolitan Museum of Arts (New York), Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
