This sofa is a simplified version of the original Chanel Sofa installed at Coco Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon in Paris. She designed herself this sofa which is also an all-time favorite sofa for a lot of interior designers and architects. This sofa combines timeless elegance and moreover extensive comfort all together.
The sofa has sat her close friends, like Elizabeth Taylor, Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Igor Stravinsky, and Salvador Dalí. It was housed above the atelier at 31 rue Cambon in Paris. Today, this iconic apartment is closed to all apart from privileged guests and customers of the luxury house Chanel.
