Chanel rue Cambon Sofa. Solid beechwood and poplar plywood frame. Gold leaf finished feet. Traditional upholstering (springs, horsehair…) Covering with COM. Made upon order, it is therefore available in many dimensions, comfort and finishings.
This sofa is true to the original sofa installed at Coco Chanel’s private apartment. The sofa has sat her close friends, like Elizabeth Taylor, Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Igor Stravinsky, and Salvador Dalí. It was housed above the atelier at 31 rue Cambon in Paris. Today, this iconic apartment is closed to all apart from privileged guests and customers of the luxury house Chanel.
Designed by Mademoiselle Chanel herself, this great sofa certainly became an all-time favorite piece for beautiful and refine interiors. It combines timeless elegance and extensive comfort all together.
