Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a prominent Scottish architect, designer, and artist. He consequently influenced on the Arts and Crafts movement and Art Nouveau.

Born in Glasgow in 1868, he trained as an architect and developed a distinctive style that seamlessly blended geometric precision with organic forms. Notable works include the iconic Glasgow School of Art, the Hill House, and the Willow Tea Rooms, each reflecting his innovative approach to design. Mackintosh’s furniture and interior designs are celebrated for their elegance and also modernity. Despite facing limited recognition during his lifetime, his work gained acclaim posthumously, profoundly impacting 20th-century architecture and design. Today, Mackintosh is remembered as a pioneering figure of Modern Style (British Art Nouveau style)
