Quinet Coffee Table Horse Heads. 1950s French style coffee table inspired by a design of Jacques Quinet. Hand hammered iron base with twisted iron cord. Black patina. Gilt parts. Clear glass top. Made upon order, it is therefore available in many dimensions, metal finishings and types of glass, marble or stone.

 

Born in 1918, Jacques Quinet was a French cabinet maker, furniture and interior designer of the second half of the 20th century. He decorated private residences, corporate offices and luxury French ocean liners including the famous ocean liner SS France. He was associated with wrought-iron masters Gilbert Poillerat as well as Raymond Subes in his production 1945-65.
