Art Deco is a movement in the decorative arts and architecture that developed during the 1930s and the 1940s. Its name was derived from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925. Art Deco further continued to be a source of inspiration in interior designs into the 21st century.
