Gilbert Poillerat is one of the most renowned French designers and wrought iron masters of the 20th Century. Poillerat used Nature inspired elements such as branches, corals, leaves… He furthermore embellished his furniture with delicate gilded metal pieces (twisted ropes, stars, bows and arrows, globes astrolabs…) Gilbert Poillerat collaborated with many of the leading designers of the Art Deco period, among them Jacques Adnet, André Arbus, Jean Pascaud and Jean Royère. As per all our bespoke production, the Gilbert Poillerat style iron table gilt rope can be adapted to your own’s specifications.
