Marc du Plantier is one of the greatest French designers of the 20th century. Influenced by Antiquity pieces simplicity, he created then timeless furniture, lighting and objects. Du Plantier often used luxurious and rare materials. He combined for example semi-precious stones or coral with geometrical shaped metal or wood frames. Eclectic, he also worked for fashion houses. He further designed private residences or stage sets for theaters.
