Poillerat Circular Table Iron. 1940s French style gueridon inspired by a design of Gilbert Poillerat. Hand hammered iron base with twisted iron cord. Black patina. Gilt parts. Marble top. Made upon order, it is therefore available in many dimensions, metal finishings and types of marble or stone.
Gilbert Poillerat is one of the most renowned French designers and wrought iron masters of the 20th Century. Inspired by historical architecture, he imagined then elegant metal objects and furniture. His creations are unique for their perfect proportions and distinctive personal style. Poillerat collaborated with many of the leading designers of his time, among them Jacques Adnet, André Arbus, Jean Pascaud and Jean Royère.
